My name is Dominic Redcliffe and currently I'm a supply Primary School teacher in St. Helens, England.
I joined TUI Airways on a summer contract as Cabin Crew at Manchester in 2019 and unfortunately due to the pandemic I was unable to return for the Summer 2020 season. I am submitting a speculative application to Aer Lingus in case the airline establishes a base at Manchester Airport in the future and requires locally based crew.
Although I work as a supply teacher, my desire is to continue my career in aviation. This is a career that I've always been extremely interested in and wished I had followed previously. After successfully working as Cabin Crew in 2019, I simply cannot think of any other job that I would prefer to do – especially if I was employed by Aer Lingus working with your crews, passengers and on your aircraft.
I have flown four times with Aer Lingus to Boston and on each flight I was impressed by the professionalism of the cabin crew and whole flight experience. The crew members took a great pride in their work to ensure the onboard experience was focused on their passengers. Firstly, their professionalism and approach to safety was paramount followed by their ‘customer centric' attitude. The Cabin Crew on these flights were extremely friendly and helpful and they really appeared to be enjoying their ‘day' at work and showed excellent teamwork.
It would be a dream come true to deliver the safety and customer service standards that represent Aer Lingus. é
